BIO

I have been in the iron trenches since 1986, a coach and trainer since 1995 and a member of the Freak Family since its earliest days. I career spans a wide variety of sports and athlete preparation including playing and coaching Junior and Major-Junior football, time as a professional wrestler, and competing in Strongman and Power lifting. After 20 years of competition in the Highland Games, my long throwing events career was highlighted with three trips to the Canadian Championships and one to the Master’s World Championships where I placed sixth.

 

A long time avid bodybuilding enthusiast- since an early viewing of Pumping Iron as a kid, I have been an active supporter of the local bodybuilding community in Manitoba for many decades. I’ve taken my own bodyweight as high as 330 pounds and worked with Freak Fitness owner Darren Mehling to get down to a lean 220 for an event in 2014.

 

Almost a personification of the phrase “Old School” in terms of my work ethic and competitive drive, I eagerly await competing in the Men’s Physique Division and as a Freak Fitness FPS Prep Coach, am excited to be putting my energies towards helping you pursue your own dreams of stepping on stage and experiencing your place in the winner’s circle!

Freak Physique System (FPS)

The FPS program has proven to be one of the most effective ways to prepare for bodybuilding, physique, women’s figure, fitness, bikini, and fitness modeling competitions, helping Freak Fitness clients earn hundreds and hundreds of physique competition top–3 awards, from Novice to Professional level, and multiple IFBB Pro cards.

Based on the information you provide in a comprehensive questionnaire regarding your competition goals, health history, lifestyle, personal preferences, and equipment available to you, Jeff then prepares a complete individualized plan for you to take it to the stage – in the best shape of your life!

Jeff provides a customized start up diet and supplement plan, a cardio schedule, a new weight training program every eight weeks, on–going monitoring of progress via weekly emailed feedback and pictures, and on–going contact via online access. Client requested telephone or Skype consultations, and SMS and IM access are available for an additional fee.

Jeff offers a complete online coaching program so there’s no guess work. Simply – you do the work; report your feedback and progress to Jeff on a weekly basis, and then he will modify any part of your plan, if/when necessary, to ensure your continued progress and top performance.
